HNTB Corporation and Cambridge Systematics have been selected as the lead consultants for the remainder of DIRECTIONS’ Alternatives Analysis. The objective of this phase is to narrow the 12 rapid transit starter system options (four route options x four mode options) to one or two for evaluation in the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) phase to follow. A Federal Transit Administration (FTA) New Starts request to enter preliminary engineering will follow the DEIS.
